1Can I purchase a class without creating a Sawyer account?
A Sawyer account must be created to sign up at The ColLab. Don’t worry! Setting up an account is quick and simple.
2Can I just do a drop-in class?
Yes, all drop-in classes are $60. You will need to register online through our website which includes all of your supplies!
3What is the benefit of a membership?
We have two options for memberships. We have a 4-class-pack which reduces each class fee to $54 and an 8-class-pack which reduces the class fee to $48. You will be billed automatically each month.
4What if I don’t use all of my membership classes within the month’s pay period?
For up to 3 months credits will roll over, however you will still be billed for your next months membership. You will be billed each month based on the date of sign-up. You may pause your membership for no more than two months each year. Unused classes must be used within the same academic calendar year.
5What is your membership policy?
These Terms of Service shall remain in full force and effect while you use The ColLab Services or are a Member. Subject to the limitations set forth in your membership agreement, you may terminate your membership at any time, for any reason. You must submit in writing to [email protected] your desire to cancel and the email must be received at least two (2) weeks prior to the start of your billing date to avoid being charged for such month. If we receive your cancellation notice after the start of your billing date, your cancellation will be effective as of the start of the following month. NO REFUNDS will be issued once your account has been billed for the month. We may terminate your membership at any time, without warning, if you breach these Terms of Service. Even after membership is terminated, these Terms of Service will remain in effect. Terms: Billed each month based on the date of signup. You may pause your membership for no more than two months each year. Unused classes will roll over to the next month for up to 3 months. Unused classes must be used within the same academic calendar year. You acknowledge that The ColLab charges fees for its services, and The ColLab reserves the right to change its fees from time to time in its discretion. If The ColLab terminates your membership because you have breached these Terms of Service, you may not be entitled to a refund of any unused portion of your membership or other fees. 6What is your cancellation policy?
If you do not show up to class, or you cancel within 24 hours of class starting, you will be charged a no show fee of $30. To avoid this fee, cancel class in your account or by contacting us more than 24 hours before class begins.
7Why do some classes require me to pay for a “series” in advance?
Some of our classes build upon each other and require a consistent group. Drop-ins are not allowed for our series classes.
8Do you offer camps?
We love offering camps any time schools are not in session. Check out our day camp offerings throughout the school year as well as our summer camps. Summer Camp schedule will be posted in February!
9Do you offer one-on-one tutoring?
As past school teachers we believe in the power of ColLab-orating together. In an era of constant electronics we believe interaction amongst peers of similar age is even more important than ever these days. Please check out some of our research articles we have posted on our site.
10May I pay when I arrive?
You will need to purchase a class online in advance. If we do not have a minimum of 3 participants classes will be canceled.
11Do you offer birthday parties?

12How far in advance do I need to book a class?
As long as you see openings available online you may sign up for a class. We ask that you sign up at least 48 hours in advance so we can make sure to have all the supplies we need.
13Do parents stay for classes?
We do offer a few mommy and me classes currently. However, if it doesn’t note parents are required to stay you may leave. We have limited parking and a new round-a-bout for easy drop off.
14How are teachers vetted?
All of our teachers must undergo a background check. As you can see by their bios we staff highly qualified teachers. We believe hiring passionate teachers with innovative lesson plans is key to your child’s success. If we wouldn’t have them teach our own children, we wouldn’t hire them! We like to think we have cultivated an amazing and talented staff.
15Are you a school?
We are not a school. We offer enrichment classes and help to fill in the gaps with whatever accredited program/route you have chosen for your child.
16What ages do you service?
We serve the entire family. From classes for preschoolers, homeschoolers and our hybrid communities to even our parents. Along with our after school classes for elementary through high school, our passion is to improve the lives of ALL of our community members!
17How many are in each class?
Classes must have a minimum of 3 participants and a max of 7.
18What is your refund policy?
All refunds are subject to a Sawyer provider and Credit Card processing fee charge of $30.
